Work Description
- Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Decorate and present desserts with creativity and attention to detail
- Develop and test new recipes and seasonal menu items
- Supervise pastry assistants and coordinate daily production schedules
- Ensure freshness and proper storage of ingredients and finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the pastry kitchen
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking tools, and decoration methods
- Creativity and an eye for artistic presentation
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts preferred
